Welcome to Gati Express. By booking a moving service with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use.
1. Booking and Payments
- A token advance payment is required to confirm and schedule your moving date and block our vehicles/crew.
- The final balance payment must be cleared as per the agreed terms, typically before the unloading of goods at the destination.
- Quotations are based on the inventory list provided by the customer. Any significant additions to the inventory on the moving day may result in a revision of the final charges.
2. Prohibited Items
For safety and legal reasons, Gati Express will NOT transport the following items. Customers must carry these items themselves:
- Cash, jewelry, and precious stones.
- Important personal documents (Passports, property papers, etc.).
- Hazardous materials, flammables, explosives, or corrosive chemicals.
- Perishable food items or live animals/pets.
3. Customer Responsibilities
- The customer is solely responsible for arranging society/building permissions, lift access, and gate passes at both the pickup and delivery locations.
- The customer or an authorized representative must be present during the packing and loading process to verify the inventory.
4. Insurance and Liability
While our team takes the utmost care and uses premium packing materials, transit risks exist. We strongly advise customers to opt for Transit Insurance.
- Gati Express is not liable for damages caused by "Acts of God" (natural disasters, severe weather), riots, strikes, or accidents beyond the driver's control unless comprehensive transit insurance has been purchased through us prior to the move.
- Any claims for damages must be reported in writing within 24 hours of unloading.
5. Cancellation Policy
If a booking is canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled move time, the token advance may be forfeited to cover operational and scheduling losses. Cancellations made well in advance will be processed according to our standard refund policy.
6. Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising out of the services provided by Gati Express shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in our registered head office city.
